Our Story

Grace Church is a special place where the personal experience of living by faith is enhanced through a community. Our church focuses on the lessons laid out in scripture and encourages celebrating our faith with others, continuing to learn from the Bible and seeking to incorporate God's word into our modern lives. As so many people have left mainstream Christian denominations over the last 50 years, a vast spiritual need has been exposed. As an independent ministry for over 20 years, Grace met this need through practices both ancient and new, welcoming all who were seeking a connection with God.

In October 2021 Grace joined the Anglican Diocese of New England as a succession plan for the church. Pastor Peter DiSanto felt the lessons he taught from scripture and how he led Grace for decades most aligned with the Anglican church. Now Grace has more support from a larger community of churches so we can continue to grow and be supported. What’s special about the Anglican community is that each church is allowed some freedom in how they conduct mass, so Grace still has the same feeling it had for decades as an independent ministry and continues to be a spiritual oasis for the community. Beauty is everywhere at Grace, from the hand-hewn timbers and stained glass in the sanctuary, to the amazing outdoor sacred space in the garden with its beautiful fountain, benches and altar. Pastor Peter DiSanto gave so much time and care to create this sacred church. Back in the 90s, he and his wife at the time bought the property next door to where they lived with their three kids. Then he worked for years to renovate the home into a church. Years later the next project began: the sacred garden at Grace. Now we have a beautiful outdoor space to connect with God. If you’d like, read more about our garden here.

Throughout the years, the mission and feeling of Grace Church has remained the same — we welcome all who are seeking a connection with God. There’s no doubt, God is present at Grace. Many have found a place of healing, growth and peace in the pews of our little church. We joke that God is so present at Grace you can even feel Him in the parking lot. It’s true!

Come and See.
